the manager of ingenuity is responsible for providing undergraduate and graduate 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 with entrepreneurial opportunities, programming, events, workshops, and resources. the manager will also manage and run the physical space of ingenuity within the centre for advanced studies in engineering and sciences (cases), as well as breakout spaces, and cultivate a mentor network and community partnerships to foster and contribute to the entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem of 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 , thunder bay, and northwestern ontario. 

duties and responsibilities:

incubator facilitation management: the candidate will be responsible for running and managing the incubator space on campus for 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 , and recruiting, training and managing employee(s), as well as fostering an environment to support the development of a vibrant entrepreneurial culture on campus.

entrepreneurial programming, workshops and events: the manager will organize and coordinate several types of learning events including interactive workshops, competitions, social events, networking opportunities, boot camps, and programs that help encourage and teach entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial skills at 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 .

community partnerships and outreach activities: this position will focus on student outreach activities as well as outreach with community members, stakeholders and partners. the manager should regularly provide referrals to participants to city organizations and community partners, ensuring the direct pipeline from 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 to existing resources in thunder bay, as well as manage partnerships with the city of thunder bay's entrepreneurial ecosystem.

entrepreneur coaching and mentoring: the manager should continually identify, cultivate, and solicit support for incubation efforts and lead entrepreneurial coaching and mentoring sessions and programs. in addition, the incumbent will coordinate mentorship responsibilities and pairing with 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 , manage such relationships, and ensure that mentors are contributing to student milestones.

advisory board and mentor network coordination: the manager will assume responsibility for facilitating a process to create and sustain a governance structure and advisory board, consisting of community members, entrepreneurs, and internal members. the manager will also be expected to create a mentor network of entrepreneurs in order to have access to individuals who can mentor and guide our student entrepreneurs.

qualifications:

the ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in business administration/commerce or related field that is complemented by 3 years of related experience, preferably in a post-secondary environment. your interest in entrepreneurship, innovation, start-up companies, and business, along with your interpersonal, writing and communication skills, will allow you to develop and confidently convey the university’s entrepreneurial initiatives to 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 , community partners and funding agencies. expertise in coaching, mentoring and delivering professional development workshops is expected. knowledge of small-medium enterprises (smes) is a definite asset.  a full job description may be requested by contacting the office of human resources.
