global affairs canada is opening its international scholarship applications for the 2025-26 academic year.  researchers may be contacted by 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 from these countries seeking a supervisor for a research stay. 

there are scholarships for study (usually undergrads) and research (usually graduate 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 ). 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 cannot apply directly, applications are submitted by 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 , with selection decisions made by global affairs canada.  the program is quite competitive for undergraduate study scholarships, but we have had a lot of success with the graduate/research applications.

if researchers are interested in hosting a visiting research student and have research collaborators in any of the eligible countries, they are encouraged to reach out and invite applications from their 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 . please note that vrs are expected to work on their research full-time for 4-6 months under the lakehead researcher's supervision.

to be eligible, study 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 must be from institutions where lakehead has an mou / exchange agreement. for research 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 , this is agreement is not mandatory.  in a few cases, an undergrad may be nominated for a research stay if the lakehead researcher has a genuine collaboration with the student's home institution.

the bc foundation for non-animal research (bc fnar), a registered b.c. charity, is excited to announce that its 2025 non-animal research grant is now open for application at www.bcfnar.ca

founded in 1970, the bc fnar provides grants to 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 and emerging and established scientists for biomedical research or education and training which do not involve harmful animal use.

applicants who demonstrate a commitment to non-animal methods (nams) in their work can apply for up to $10,000 in funding, with the opportunity for greater funding in exceptional cases.

the canadian bar law for the future fund (lfff) has grants available for innovative projects in the field of law.

projects eligible for consideration must be of national interest and/or of benefit to the general public and must be in at least one of the following fields:

• legal research
• legal education
• legislation and law reform
• administration of justice

grants cannot be used to pay for any indirect costs, operating expenses, capital projects, budget deficits, general fund drives, annual charitable appeals, scholarships, sabbaticals, or the holding of conferences or seminars. requests for grant funding relating exclusively to publication costs, equipment purchases and travel costs cannot be considered.

the hfsp fellowship program supports proposals for frontier, potentially transformative research in the life sciences. applications for high-risk projects are particularly encouraged. the projects should be interdisciplinary in nature and should challenge existing paradigms by using novel approaches and techniques. scientifically, they should address an important problem or a barrier to progress in the field.

hfsp postdoctoral fellowships encourage early career scientists to broaden their research skills by moving into new areas of study while working in a new country.

two different fellowships are available:

long-term fellowships (ltf) are for applicants with a phd on a biological topic who want to embark on a novel and frontier project focussing on the life sciences.

cross-disciplinary fellowships (cdf) are for applicants who hold a doctoral degree from a non-biological discipline (e.g. physics, chemistry, mathematics, engineering or computer sciences) and who have not worked in the life sciences before.

brain canada and the als society of canada are happy to announce the launch of the 2025 als canada-brain canada clinical research fellowship!

the aalto science institute in finland is now accepting applications for its 2025 international summer research program; all nationalities are eligible. approximately 50 12-week positions are available for primarily for undergraduate and master's 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 ; there may also be opportunities for phd 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 (read the faqs). positions are offered in:

the main objective of the award is to create opportunity and support 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 from historically underrepresented groups to experience research in a culturally safe environment, while building their experience and exploring kidney research.

the frontiers of knowledge awards honor fundamental disciplinary or interdisciplinary advances across a broad expanse of the knowledge map of the 21st century. the areas addressed by this family of awards are:
