join international student services for our winter reading week events, happening all week from tuesday, february 18 to friday, february 21! don’t miss out on the chance to experience iconic canadian winter activities, including curling, cross-country skiing, hiking, and snowshoeing. it’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate the winter season, make new friends, and embrace the beauty of winter in canada! see you there!

tuesday, february 18:
watching curling | 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm | $10 per student

wednesday, february 19:
escape the cold | 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm | no fee and no registration needed!
thursday, february 20: **trip currently full, registration closed**
trip to explore kakabeka falls provincial park | 10:30 am - 2:00 pm | $5 per student
to be added to our waitlist, please email studentlife.intl@lakeheadu.ca and make sure to provide your student id number. we will reach out to people on the waitlist starting friday, february 14, 2025 in the afternoon.

snowshoeing | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm or 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm | $5 per person
