duties include:

• understanding and following standard operating procedures (sops)
• accurately preparing reagents and standards of specified ph, ionic strength and concentration
• routine chemical analysis of samples that includes accurate and precise preparation and analysis of samples
• culturing daphnia magna and rainbow trout
• euthanizing fish following sops
• receiving and logging in samples

• ensuring that analytical run performance is within system suitability specs, performing basic maintenance and calibration on instruments
• diligently recognizing, recording and communicating outside quality control limits results, non-conformities and other anomalies

qualifications
