2011- aba/giz award - award given to the best two phd dissertations in the past three years; on the topic of indigenous traditional knowledge in the amazon rain forest (2011). as a result of aba/giz award, my phd dissertation was published as a book in 2012 by the brazilian anthropological association (aba) press.
