dr. martin-joe ezeudu
dr. ezeudu studied at osgoode hall law school at york university, where he obtained a phd in international law and resource trade regulation. he received an llm in commercial law from the university of birmingham in england and an llb from nnamdi azikiwe university in nigeria, where he graduated as the best student in his class. he is a member of both the ontario bar and the nigerian bar and a solicitor of the supreme court of england and wales (non-practicing).
prior to joining 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 , dr. ezeudu taught commercial law in the school of accounting and finance at george brown college in toronto and was also in private practice. he articled at the ontario ministry of the attorney general, where he worked in the areas of corporate-commercial law, privacy law, consumer protection, and governmental policy. while at the ag’s office, he was also engaged in the prosecution of provincial offences under the ontario consumer protection act, 2002.
dr. ezeudu’s research focuses primarily on the governance of natural resources and extractive industries, with an emphasis on mining law and policy. he also has research interests in sustainable development, business and environment, resource trade regulation, transnational corporations, corporate social responsibility, and corporate-commercial law.
in 2022, dr. ezeudu became a recipient of the sshrc insight development grant, an award he received in connection with his project on the corporate social responsibility landscape in the canadian mining industry. his works have been published in several reputable journals and presented at conferences worldwide, including in canada, costa rica, finland, the netherlands, spain, and the usa. he is a member of the editorial board of the journal of environmental law & policy, published by canada’s grassroots institute in montreal.

dr. ezeudu is actively involved in administrative services at the university. he currently serves on the 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 research ethics board. he is also the chair of the senate nominations committee, a standing committee of 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 ’s senate. he has been in this yearly role since 2023 and will complete the current term in 2025.
