overview of research

my main research focus is the interaction of culture and the natural environment. many of my projects include partnerships with indigenous communities. my theoretical frameworks typically involve common property theory, complexity, and biocultural conservation to examine social-ecological systems.

i am currently involved in and have funding to accept graduate 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 for a  youth video projects on community land use history, lac seul first nation

i am also interested in 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 who wish to pursue research local to thunder bay or northwestern ontario, or 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 with research interests in the arctic. i am happy to work with potential 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 to secure funding for projects they wish to initiate themselves.  project topics might include environmental governance, conservation, and first nations environmental issues.
