research interests: 

i’m an archaeologist with an interest in past environments and human-environmental interactions in northern (boreal) north america. since 2005, i have also been developing new ways of reconstructing paleodietary changes in this region and elsewhere through the analysis of food residue preserved on archaeological pottery and other artifacts.
