i began my career as a part-time research assistant, becoming a full-time lab technician in 1993. i currently coordinate teaching assistants and lab activities for introductory ecology 2210 and animal biology 1110; maintain lab facilities, manuals, collections, and inventory for a variety of courses; host elementary and high school visitations; and do my best to keep you informed on the web page. the rest of the time is shared between house, home, family, a good novel, and always the hope of a better garden than last year!
