the government of newfoundland and labrador’s department of children, seniors and social development is recruiting social workers to join our growing team supporting the child and youth services branch.

please join us for an hour-long virtual career fair to learn about current employment opportunities, the work we do for the children, youth and families in the communities in which we live and explore what newfoundland and labrador has to offer.

successful applicants may be entitled to signing bonuses, housing benefits and/or relocation expenses.

this futurepreneur event is designed to help potential young entrepreneurs between the ages of 18-39 understand the pros and cons of starting a business with the top three most common models: startup. franchise. succession.

in this session, we will also review the top three soft skills any person needs to pursue entrepreneurship.

job searching is tough, and can often bring feelings of nervousness, anxiety, and overwhelm. career services and student health & wellness have partnered to bring you a custom workshop to help take the stress out of the job search process. throughout the workshop we will discuss:

  • job search resilience
  • how to set up your job search

there will be a q&a at the end, so please bring your questions so we can help you with your job search!
