go vaxx bus

lakehead orillia has arranged to have ontario’s go-vaxx bus on our orillia campus on february 8, 2022.

appointments can be booked through the website https://covid-19.ontario.ca/book-vaccine/ or by calling the provincial vaccine contact centre at 1-833-943-3900 starting at 8 am on february 7, 2022. walk-ins will be accepted while vaccine supplies last.

if you have any concerns about the vaccine, you are encouraged to contact your healthcare provider to make an informed decision.

join us for a virtual drop-in session with elder trish monague from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. elders provide holistic and spiritual guidance, traditional teachings, and a good laugh in times of stress. there will be a virtual smudge and prayer, followed by one-on-one sessions with elder trish.

come and join us for this short and sweet 30-minute stretch & strength inspired zoom class with meghan! align and thrive will provide you with a full-body workout that focuses on muscle strength and flexibility. this fun and interactive workout is a great chance to prioritize you during thrive week!

power (half) hour

come and join us for this fun and interactive fast paced zoom workout during thrive week with meghan! this high intensity interval style class is designed to raise your heart rate and be a full body workout. it will be a nice break in your day that allows you to reset and refresh for the rest of your day!

peer chat

being a student is hard but it can feel like you are the only one who is stressed out or struggling. peer chat is a virtual way to connect with other 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 to talk through the different academic and social experiences you have while being a student. the session provides you with the opportunity to gain insight into different student experiences as well as share your own unique skills to help support your peers.

no registration is required, drop into the zoom session anytime during the hour.

mindful meditation

join student health and wellness for live, counsellor-led mindful meditation sessions every thursday in january over zoom. each session begins with a check-in, then a mindfulness practice is introduced and guided, followed by an opportunity to discuss any questions or insights.

no experience necessary – whether you are new to mindfulness or practice regularly, having the support of a group can help to strengthen your practice.
