if you are planning on celebrating st. patrick if your st. patrick's day celebrations involve alcohol and other substances, make sure you are celebrating safely, after all, no one wants to end up sick and "turning green" 🤢.

come visit student health and wellness in the commons from 1-3pm for some interactive activities, tips for safe drinking and substance use, and free drink smart swag!

as part of nutrition month, visit student health and wellness is helping you learn how to eat well without breaking the bank. come by our table in the learning commons to get some tips and inexpensive and easy recipes you can make to eat nutritiously while studying!

as part of nutrition month, student health and wellness is hosting an information session about how your food choices impact your mood and how to improve your overall well-being by eating well without breaking the bank. the session will be led by irene pugliese from student health and wellness and matt beaucage from student central/student awards and financial aid.

food will be provided and those in attendance will have the chance to win a $50 grocery gift card. 

 

wellness walk through scout valley

join student health and wellness for a destress and study break walk through scout valley. this wellness walk is a great chance to connect with others, nature and thoughtful discussions. meet in the scout valley old barrie road parking lot at 12:30pm, or at 12:15pm in front of simcoe hall to walk together to the trail. we will have a guest speaker, dr. vicki te brugge, join us to talk about the local trees and general scout valley information and how you can use nature to support your wellness.

mindful eating meditation

as part of nutrition month, join shw counsellor holly maki for a guided mindful eating meditation session. 

mindful eating focuses on in-the-moment awareness of the food and drink you put into your body. it involves observing how the food makes you feel and the signals your body sends about taste, satisfaction, and fullness.

food will be provided and those in attendance will have the chance to win a $50 grocery gift card. 

student wellness advisory team meeting

the student wellness advisory team (swat) works to facilitate student input into the overall operations of student health and wellness, 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 ’s wellness strategy and student health and wellness’ health promotion strategy. members shall serve as student ambassadors with respect to the services offered by student health and wellness and as ambassadors with respect to the overall health and wellness of the student population. 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 from both thunder bay and orillia are welcome.
