student wellness advisory team meeting
the student wellness advisory team (swat) works to facilitate student input into the overall operations of student health and wellness, 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 ’s wellness strategy and student health and wellness’ health promotion strategy. members shall serve as student ambassadors with respect to the services offered by student health and wellness and as ambassadors with respect to the overall health and wellness of the student population.
refresh sleep program
the refresh sleep program aims to provide lakehead 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 , staff and faculty with the skills and strategies to achieve more restful nights.
when you join the refresh sleep program, you will receive a weekly email for eight weeks that has an attached pdf with important information and tips that have been proven to help improve sleep. it is encouraged to spend at least thirty minutes per week with the program information. the materials include information about:
financial wellness- ask us anything!
managing your finances and making ends meet can be stressful but we are here to help! drop by student health and wellness to ask representatives from rbc on campus, student awards and financial aid and student health and wellness about all things money-related. we'll share resources and tools to help you develop healthy financial habits.
snacks and refreshments will be provided.
wellu wednesday- arts and crafts
give the reading a rest for a minute and stop by student health and wellness to unwind with some arts and crafts. no registration or artistic skills are required, supplies and snacks provided.
wellu wednesday- naloxone training
student health and wellness have partnered with superior points harm reduction program to offer naloxone training to lakehead 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 . participants will learn about the symptoms of opioid overdose and when and how to use naloxone.
there is no cost for the training but registration is required and spaces are limited. each participant will receive a naloxone kit.
a note that masks are required in student health and wellness.
stop the stigma day
stop by the library courtyard to take part in the launch of student health and wellness' stop the stigma campaign! take time to check in with your mental health, share words of wisdom with your fellow thunderwolves, grab some swag and snacks and play some yard games.
wellu wednesday- student health and wellness open house
stop by student health and wellness to meet our staff and to learn more about the services and supports available to you, how to get involved and what programming we have coming up! snacks and refreshments provided.
wellu wednesday- yoga by the lake
join student health and wellness for a yoga session by lake tamblyn. no registration but bring your own mat and props if possible (some may be available but not guaranteed).
if the weather is poor, the event will take place in the student health and wellness (prettie residence) activity room.
