refresh sleep

the refresh sleep program aims to provide lakehead 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 , staff and faculty with the skills and strategies to achieve more restful nights.

when you join the refresh sleep program, you will receive a weekly email for eight weeks that has an attached pdf with important information and tips that have been proven to help improve sleep. it is encouraged to spend at least thirty minutes per week with the program information. the materials include information about:

according to the sleep foundation our chronotype is the natural inclination of your body to sleep at a certain time, or what most people understand as being an early bird versus a night owl. in addition to regulating sleep and wake times, chronotype influences appetite, exercise, and core body temperature. 

crafternoon: clay creations

join the peer wellness educators and try your hand at polymer clay! make earrings, beads, a keychain, whatever your heart desires. drop into the activity room anytime between 1-4pm.

all supplies provided, no cost or previous experience to participate but you will need to bake your creation at home.

music therapy

join kaelyn, accredited music therapist and neurologic music therapist, for a unique group finding new ways to destress with music! come out to experience a bit of what music therapy can do for you and gain some resources for you to try at home. music therapists can utilize different aspects of music to express all types of emotions, regulate mind and body and even slow heart rate during times of active stressors. activities will all be done in a low-stakes group environment at whatever participation level you feel comfortable, no "solos" required!

pick up some mental health giveaways and a photo wall provided by bell let's talk, connect with your fellow thunderwolves and unwind with a hot chocolate bar, games, puzzles and other activities.

therapy dogs will join us from 12-1pm. 

reps from student health and wellness and human resources will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about the resources available to you.
