a krescent program post-doctoral fellowship is an “in-training” award intended for applicants with a phd, md or equivalent degree. the objective is to attract and foster young investigators to initiate and/or continue their training in kidney research.

telemedicine helps ensure that care continues to be provided to those who need it most by triaging low-risk urgent care and follow-up appointments while maintaining continuity of care, especially for chronic disease and behavioral health patients who may require routine check-ins regardless of geographic proximity between the hcp and the patient.

the virtual care task force (vctf) was created by the canadian medical association, the college of family physicians of canada and the royal college of physicians and surgeons of canada. vcft recently issued a report “virtual care – recommendations for scaling up virtual medical services” 1 and discussed the importance of enhancing virtual quality of care by improving:

• informational continuity – how can we ensure that information on prior events is properly used to provide care that is appropriate to the patient's current circumstance?

• relational continuity – how can we elevate and bridge the ongoing relationship between patients and providers which is the undergirding that connects care over time and bridges discontinuous events?

• management continuity – how can we ensure that care received from different providers is connected in a coherent and efficient way to provide optimal patient care?

it is our intent to support quality improvement initiatives that enhance the virtual quality of care in areas outlined above or access to care with telemedicine.

phase ii of the joint canada-israel health research program is expected to:

• advance research and discovery in global health and biomedical sciences;
• encourage scientific collaboration and knowledge mobilization between canadian, israeli and lmic researchers and trainees; and
• reinforce capacity in global health and biomedical science with researchers and trainees.

the msca staff exchanges program supports mobility of researchers through secondments to academic and industry partners in europe and internationally.  the aim of the program is to promote knowledge exchange and skills development, leading to sustainable collaborative projects between organisations from the academic and non-academic sectors (including smes) in europe and beyond. staff exchanges are open to international consortia of universities, research institutions, businesses, smes and other non-academic organizations. currently, canadian research teams can participate under the rules for third party countries - msca funds could be used to support visiting researchers to lakehead (faculty and research staff, including phd 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 ).  "staff" can include phd 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 and post-doctoral researchers, as well as administrative, technical or managerial staff. secondments can last from one month to one year.  graduate 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 of canadian participants in an msca project can participate in outbound mobility through a tier 1 mitacs gra award (no co-pay requirement). projects can last up to four years, and require partners in at least three countries, two of which must be in an eu member state or associated country.  for more information, please contact jill sherman, intl.research@lakeheadu.ca.
