traditional fulbright scholar awards

how to apply: 

traditional fulbright awards are open to canadian scholars in all fields and are designed to enable emerging and established scholars, post-doctoral researchers and experienced professionals to conduct research, teach, or undertake a combination of both activities for one semester or a full academic year at any university or research centre of their choice in the united states.

specialization:

while the competition is open to all disciplines, fulbright canada is particularly interested in encouraging research on contemporary issues relevant to canada, the united states and the relationship between the two countries. applicants should also clearly document the need to be in residence in canada to carry out the project.

 

award details:

the award is valued at $12,500 for one semester, either september 2015 or january 2016. the 2016-17 competition deadline is november 15, 2015 at 5:00pm est. applications become available on may 15th, 2015. (applicants who will not have received a ph.d. by december 31, 2014 should apply to the fulbright canada student program).

Ø  traditional fulbright student awards: us$15,000 for one nine-month academic year. these all-discipline awards can be taken up at any college, university, think tank, or government agency in the united states

Ø  foreign language teaching assistant (flta) program: grants allow 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 to live in the united states for a period of 10 months. the award includes a $400-$600 stipend per month (commensurate with average cost of living in host city, room and board, visa services, health insurance, and a bursary to complete two courses per semester that are most beneficial to the student’s teaching career.
