in today’s complex and ever-changing world, there is increased danger of the results of research undertaken at canadian universities being used by external actors in manners that threaten canada’s national security. as a consequence, the safeguarding of research and innovation at canadian universities has emerged as a vital endeavour and continues to become even more critical.
