speaker biographies:

felix bivens is the founder and director of empyrean research, a community-based research organization dedicated to working with higher education institutions to build better community-university partnerships.

linda hawkins is the co-founder and director of the institute for community engaged scholarship (icse), and the research shop at the university of guelph.
