course description: enzyme kinetics. mechanism of enzyme reactions. biosynthesis of terpenes and steroids. sequence determination of dna and rna using electrophoretic methods. chemical synthesis of polynucleotides. dna replication. protein synthesis.
start date/duration: january 6, 2025 – april 4, 2025

qualifications preferred: a university degree in chemistry is required. a msc or phd in chemistry or a closely related discipline is preferred. prior experience teaching similar content is highly preferred. experience with online or alternative modes of course delivery is desirable.
