women's defense class
wen-do:
the northwestern ontario women’s centre would like to invite you to a women's self defence class!
wen-do is a registered charity and the oldest women's self defence organization in canada. all wen-do classes are taught by women, for women & girls. physical techniques are designed to be effective against larger, physically stronger attackers. they include blocks, strikes, releases from holds (arm holds, body holds, chokes, hair grabs, and situations where one is pinned to the ground).
session 1: open to all women survivors - free
trauma informed wen-do session for survivors of violence –physical, sexual, emotional etc.
