dr. melville bartley alumni memorial bursary (dmbbi) awarded to a geology major in any year on the basis of financial need and minimum b standing.

bernie schnieders memorial award (bsmog) was established in 2005, by family, friends and colleagues of bernie schnieders. this endowed award provides much-needed financial assistance to a graduate student who demonstrates a keen interest in economic geology and mineral fieldwork.
