this year's recipient of the prestigious president's award for graduate studies is jody maceachern. jody has recently completed his msc. thesis "how does environmental variation effect fitness of density-dependent habitat selectors? " in the department of biology (dr. douglas morris, supervisor). this president's award is given annually to a student graduating with a masters or doctoral degree based on academic performance. the student must also have occupied a position of responsibility in any student organization and/or by their activities and achievements have made contributions that have earned the special gratitude of a department, school, faculty and/or the university.
