lakehead users can continue to request access to the physical collection by placing a request in omni. users will be notified when their item(s) are ready for pickup. pickup hours, by location, are:

chancellor paterson library: monday, wednesday and friday from 1:00pm-4:00pm
education library (thunder bay): tuesday from 1:00pm-4:30pm and thursday from 11:00am-1:00pm
harvie legacy library (orillia): monday, wednesday, friday from 1:00pm-4:00pm
law library: thursday from 11:00am-1:00pm

returns can be accepted at chancellor paterson library and education library during contactless pickup hours. returns can also be accepted in the chancellor paterson library drop box between 8:00am and 8:00pm monday-friday, and between 8:00am and 6:00pm on weekends. during these hours, please access the drop box via the tunnels near security. please ensure you complete your covid-19 screening via the mymobilesafety app before coming to campus for pick-up or returns.

on the library's website, click the advanced search link. if you are searching specifically for books, change the material type drop-down on the right, to books and ebooks.

enter keywords and click on search.  if you know an exact title that you are looking for, you can change any field on the left to title, and enter your exact book title, for a more accurate search.

when your search results are displayed, you can filter your results with the options on the left side.

available online = filter your results to show ebooks only

available in lakehead library =  filter your results to show print and ebooks available at lakehead.

lakehead library = displays books by location, i.e. the chancellor paterson library in thunder bay, or the harvie legacy library at orillia university avenue.

click on a book that you are interested in. in the middle of the book record page, view the library location of this book.

you will need to sign into your account to request contactless pickup. click on the sign in link, and then enter your 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 credentials.

after you hit request, you will need to select your pickup location. pickup locations are chancellor paterson library (thunder bay);  education library (thunder bay only); law library (thunder bay, law users only) and harvie legacy library (orillia - university avenue). if you wish for a section of a physical book to be scanned and emailed to you, choose the request scanned excerpt option.
