the makerspace@paterson is a do-it-yourself place for 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 , faculty and staff to explore, learn, create and collaborate using the equipment and software available. it is located on the main floor of the chancellor paterson library in li-1005 and li-1006.

drop in to learn about the space, watch a demo, discuss with us how you might use the equipment for your assignments, research, etc.

since it's opening in june 2018, the makerspace@paterson has seen a lot of activity. over 200 nursing 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 spent lab sessions exploring the human heart in virtual reality, biochemistry 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 created 3d designs of protein molecules and then printed them on the 3d printers, and visual arts 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 and faculty created art projects using the 3d scanner, the 3d printer and a virtual reality application (gravity sketch) on the oculus rift.

who can use the makerspace?

the makerspace is available to all current 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 , faculty and staff of the university. 

everyone wishing to use the 3d printers is required first to attend a 3d printing orientation session. 

 

anyone wishing to use the 3d printers must first attend a 3d printing orientation session. this 30-minute session provides a brief overview of the makerspace,  introduces 3d printing technology, covers the basic operation of the ultimaker 3d printers and reviews safety guidelines for operating the equipment.
