to find books on a specific topic, try doing a subject search

how do you do that?

1. go to the omni search screen and choose subject from the search field drop-down menu
2. type in your search term-  for example - auroras (for northern lights) and then click on the search button. here is a screen shot of what the search screen will look like.
3. here is a screen shot of some of the results you might retrieve for this subject search. results can be narrowed or modified by using the filters on the left hand side. results can be limited by date, language, resource type, location, etc.

academic libraries are organized by library of congress classification.

books starting with a call number from m to z are on the 4th floor of the library.
