the most common way to add citations into zotero, is with the "connector" embedded into your web browser (firefox, chrome, safari).
however, there are other ways to add citations into your zotero account, especially if you are only beginning to use zotero after having already performed a lot of research, and now want to bring all your previously found items into your new zotero account.
