there are mobility opportunities for lakehead faculty and staff members available through our global partners such as erasmus+ programme, international guest lecturer programs and programs offered by global affairs canada. call for applications: north2north exchange funding for academic and administrative staff (faculty and staff) to norwayall academic and administrative staff members officially employed at lakehead can apply for a north2north scholarship to partially cover travel and accommodation in connection with the north2north exchange. application deadline: september 10, 2024 supported activities: teaching, research and networking activities on an arctic related topic. if research is the purpose of the north2north exchange, it is required that the host intuition is actively involved, and the expected outcome of the joint activities is described in the application. the north2north exchanges should contribute to bringing north2north institutions closer together by developing and sharing joint knowledge about arctic and northern related issues. the norwegian north2north program supports exchanges that go beyond the participants’ individual benefits and career improvement. all visits should be agreed upon in advance with the north2north partners in norway (please see the list below) and as the first step, please indicate your interest to apply for the grant in this form and the application form attached within this form. *lakehead international will assist you getting in contact with the right person and have the application form signed off by the institution you wish to visit, if there is no established relationship yet. duration of exchange: the duration of exchange should be of minimum 3 working days, not including travelling days. north2north funding can be given for exchanges of maximum 2 weeks' duration. nevertheless, if a participant wants to stay longer at the host institution, it is possible, but will not be subject to extended financial support from the north2north. this grant is for a visit between january 2025 – june 2025 mobility grant rate: 1 week stay - 17,000 nok 2 week stay - 20,000 nok list of the partners in norway through the consortium: please check this webpage for further details -https://www.uarctic.org/members/participate/north2north/north2north-for-staff-and-faculty/north2north-for-norway/ . for further inquiries, please contact maiko scorgie at mscorgie@lakeheadu.ca call for applications: travel support for canadian uarctic membershow to apply: we are pleased to announce a call for applications under the travel support for canadian uarctic members. this initiative aims to foster engagement and collaboration of northern canadians, including indigenous peoples, within the uarctic network, with a specific focus on supporting participation and perspectives in uarctic activities and events. priority for funding will be for northern and indigenous uarctic member faculty, 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 , community knowledge holders, chairs and thematic network leads. this program is made possible through the global arctic leadership initiative and supported by global affairs canada. the fund will provide up to $5,000 cad in travel support to:
