we are excited to invite you to a special event hosted by the thunder bay multicultural association in collaboration with the thunder bay public library. we believe that this event will be both enlightening and impactful. our refugee library’s goals is to shed light on the stories, experiences, and challenges faced by refugees, while also celebrating their resilience and contributions to our communities.

this event will provide a unique opportunity for you to:

come check out a 'living book' and hear unique stories as you pass through our refugee library! at this refugee library you will experience firsthand accounts of adventure, adversity, and tales from around the world. our human “books” will include representatives from diverse countries across the world, highlighting our city's multiculturalism and resilience amongst newcomers.

the aim of this event is to create a safe and inclusive space to break down stereotypes, and dismantle prejudices through the power of human connection. this is a project proudly supported by the nwo local immigration partnership and the thunder bay public library.
