lunsa 31^st annual powwow

the 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 native student association (lunsa) is excited to be hosting their 31^st annual powwow at the c.j. sanders field house, march 8-10, 2019.  the theme of this year’s powwow is celebrating community and all 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 , staff, faculty and the greater off-campus community are invited to attend this free event featuring battle nation, as the host drum.

this community event will gather people together in celebration of aboriginal culture and dance.  warm-ups will be held on friday, march 8^th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. grand entry is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on saturday, march 9^th with a traditional feast being served at 5:00 p.m. and the powwow will wrap up at 10:00 p.m. for the day.  grand entry is set for 12:00 p.m. on sunday, march 10^th with the powwow ending at 5:00 p.m.

lunsa is a volunteer lusu club.  its goals are to promote the spirit of unity among aboriginal 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 at 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 through social, cultural, and recreational events in addition to promoting cultural awareness between club members and the greater 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 student population.

the annual powwow is lunsa’s signature event that showcases tremendous talent and entertainment, while reinforcing traditional aspects of aboriginal culture such as drumming, dancing, singing, and giving thanks. attendees can purchase traditional aboriginal merchandise from on-site vendors.

ma-nee chacaby is a two-spirit ojibwa-cree elder. she was raised by her cree grandmother in a remote ojibwa community near lake nipigon, ontario.

maadaadizi 2015 is a joint post-secondary aboriginal student orientation being held at the thunder bay boys & girls club, 270 windsor street on friday, sept. 11th. 

maadaadizi means he/she starts a journey in the ojibwe language. this ia a special day set aside to welcome post-secondary aboriginal 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 and their familes to their respective institutions and to the city of thunder bay. 

it is being organized by aboriginal cultural and support services in conjunction with aboriginal initiatives, confederation college, eabametoong first nation, fort william first nation, matawa education, northern nishnawbe education council, oshki-pimache-o-win, and 7 generations education institute. 

ontario regional chief isadore day is the keynote speaker and the day will end with musical performances by nick sherman and shibastik. 

information booths by various organizations will be set-up, including one set aside for the four (pc, ndp, liberal, green) main political parties, children's activities including a bouncy castle and climbing wall, and prizes and refreshments will be offered. 

this event is free and everyone is welcome to attend. we hope to see you there, rain or shine!
