indigenous knowledge (ik) in the curriculum lunch & learn sessions – “implementing ik 2016”

dr. cynthia wesley-esquimaux, vice-provost, aboriginal initiatives & dr. peggy smith, chair of the joint sac-o-agc sub-committee are co-hosting indigenous knowledge (ik) in the curriculum lunch & learn sessions – “implementing ik 2016”.

the office of aboriginal initiatives and joint sac-o-agc sub-committee will be hosting seven (7) lunch and learn sessions around campus.

chairs, deans & faculty will be invited to bring their lunch and participate in facilitated conversations on implementing ik 2016.  our first session will take place on tuesday, december 2, 2014 at 12noon in the faculty lounge.

we hope to generate meaningful dialogue with participants and to expand understanding about implementing required calendar changes, curriculum, and course development meeting the 50% ik requirement.

if you are interested in participating, please provide us with a short statement of interest and questions so we know where to focus our sessions.  please be sure to include your name, contact information, your program or faculty, of issues of most interest to your unit.

the 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 native student association (lunsa) is excited to be hosting their 27th annual powwow at the c.j. sanders field house, march 20-22, 2015.

lunsa is honoured to have shkoday-asin as the host drum.

together, 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 and the thunder bay community will gather together in celebration of aboriginal culture and dance. the annual powwow is lunsa's signature event that showcases tremendous talent and entertainment, free of charge while reinforcing traditional aspects of aboriginal culture such as drumming, dancing, singing and giving thanks. attendees can purchase traditional aboriginal merchandise from on-site vendors.
