the issc in partnership with the thunder bay indigenous friendship centre will be hosting a status card clinic on tuesday, january 28th from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in gakina nindinawemaaganag. you will need the following:
- 1 piece of government issues id (passport, driver’s licence, photo card, or health card)
- a guarantor (someone who has known you for 2 years or more, is over the age of 18 and is registered under the indian act or be employed in an eligible occupation)
- if applying for the first time, then an original copy of your birth certificate is required.
the tbifc helps to process the status card applications. they do not issue/print cards.
