audrey fisher

audrey fisher born and raised in treaty 9 territory, an ojibwe member of long lake #58 first nation and an elected fourth term council member within her community, as well as a knowledge keeper, her indigenous name-anishnaabe aanjinkaazo: ozhaawashko waabish-kise-wasin ikwe (shining blue star women)  fisher has been with 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 for seven years a contract lecturer as anishnaabemowin indigenous language teacher, prior to that she was an associate teacher.  her current work has brought her to help and support others with anishnabemowin. as a survivor of day school she was told not to speak her language in her younger years, her inner self felt lost without language she needed identity to survive she gratefully proceeded and completed native language teachers ceriticate program, faculty of education at 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 .  fisher in actively invoved with kinoomaadziwin education body which is part of the anishnabek education system, she also is one of the founder of the ojibwewan centre establishment which is located in geraldton, ojibwe story telling, language and traditional values are reintroduce to youth, elders and community members.
