denise petitpas (oct, med) is a franco-ontarian settler and arts-based teacher educator who researches the necessity of treaty education for ethical relationality with first nations, métis, and inuit peoples. by creating in french, denise decenters the dominant colonial english narrative making a statement for equal opportunities to engage in knowledge-seeking in one’s mother tongue.
