artist statement
this tapestry makes visible the tacit expressions of people across canada working on threading environmental justice and socio-spatial tools and the researcher's role in synthesizing these narratives. the creation process experimented with the potentialities of analyzing and translating knowledge in a qualitative study, utilizing an arts-integrated methodology and emergent weaving.
