created in partnership with tourism excellence north (ten) and destination northern ontario (dno), the experiential travel tourism micro-credential is for learners interested in the theory, practice, and design of experiential tourism development within the unique northern ontario setting. learners will learn/understand the theoretical foundations of the design and delivery of experiential tourism products and then put their knowledge into practical application with a capstone project where they design an experiential tourism product of their own. the course includes several case study examples of ‘real life’ northern ontario tourism experiences that exemplify aspects of a successful experiential tourism product and will inspire 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 .

this micro-credential aims to improve student knowledge and skill sets related to experiential tourism development.
upon successful completion of this course, learners should be able to:
- identify the opportunity to enrich visitor experiences by the various methods of raising the bar with experiential tourism.
- recognize and identify potential opportunities to enhance or create new experiential tourism offers.
- describe and demonstrate how to collaborate with partners to create and deliver experiences.
- illustrate how to design, plan and price new and enhanced visitor experiences that appeal to their targeted visitor(s).
- plan an enhanced or new experience that can be created and marketed within one year.
- connect with a community of ‘like-minded’ learners who can continue to network and share ideas post-workshop.
by completing this micro-credential, learners will have a valuable and recognized certificate of completion that demonstrates their expertise in developing northern ontario culinary tourism experiences, giving them a competitive advantage in the industry and opening up new opportunities for their careers.

course withdrawals more than two weeks prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund less a $40 non-refundable administration fee. two weeks before the course begins, learners will be refunded 50% less the $40 non-refundable administration fee. once the course has begun learners will not be refunded.
non-attendance or not formally withdrawing will result in an incomplete on your non-credit transcript. questions about the withdrawal process can be forwarded to the community zone.
