interested in presenting an oral or poster presentation at our conference? we invite submissions for research and poster presentations addressing epid's mandate: to bring people together to reduce impacts of work-related injury and disability through collaborative applied research. please find the google form to submit your abstract here. the deadline for submission is june 30, 2024.

working senior mental health: free lunch & learn on mar. 24
epid@work research institute is hosting a free lunch & learn event to share our research about working seniors’ mental health. dr. batholomew chireh will be presenting the findings from his research: “mental health of working seniors in canada: prevalence, determinants and lived experiences.”
this event will be held at the 55 plus centre (700 river st) on sunday march 24 from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. there will be a free lunch catered by nucci’s and prizes to be won for attendees. ultimately, our researchers are looking for feedback from seniors on their lived experiences of mental health in the workplace. this event is supported by the canadian institutes of health research.
