	3.1	proposed graduate regulation change for referral (dr. richard maundrell) moved that the proposed graduate regulation change be referred to the appropriate committees: faculty of graduate studies 2020-fgs-7270 – modification to phd regulations

	4.1	senate academic committee report (dr. richard maundrell)
		4.1.1	moved that the attached referral process, and the following calendar change deadlines for new programs and major modifications (including associated regulations and admissions requests) be adopted: curriculum navigator submission by the initiator – july 1 dean and faculty council approval, and at the senate referral stage in curriculum navigator – september 30; and that the following calendar change deadline for all other calendar changes be adopted: dean and faculty council approval, and at the senate referral stage in curriculum navigator – october 31 calendar changes submitted in accordance with these deadlines shall be considered for inclusion in the following fall’s academic calendar. for example, calendar changes for new programs and major modifications submitted by july 1, 2020 and, at the senate referral stage by september 30, 2020, shall be considered for inclusion in the 2021-2022 academic calendar. in exceptional circumstances senate committees will review calendar changes submitted after these deadlines. these deadlines are effective for all future proposed calendar changes, commencing with those proposed for inclusion in the 2021-2022 academic calendar.
