systematic reviews, unlike other types of literature reviews, follow a structured and predefined process. in this session, we will walk you through the steps of a systematic review, focusing on preparing for your systematic review, identifying key sources of research and developing detailed search strategies. learn how librarians can support you in conducting a systematic review.

this session will showcase the utility of open educational resources (oers) as a potential benefit to both lakehead 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 (in terms of potential cost savings) and to lakehead faculty in terms of course design/re-design and curriculum development in general. an example oer adoption will be discussed as well as efforts in promoting oer at the orillia campus.

this workshop will cover the importance of literature reviews in the research cycle and discuss the following:

• selecting a topic
• finding relevant sources using library databases
• evaluating and assessing the research
• structuring your literature review
• organizing your research using software like zotero or mendeley

zotero is a free and convenient tool that can be used to help you manage information for your research, insert citations into your writing and easily create bibliographies. this session will provide an overview of how zotero can support your work throughout the research process, with hands-on opportunities to practice using the tool.

• save time with the research process
• create better citations and bibliographies
• organise all the books / articles you find during the research process
• use advanced features in zotero

we are building a big valentine's day heart in the agora with food donations for the lusu food resource centre. faculty and staff are welcome to drop off food donations with red or white packaging to the food and conference services booth in the agora between 11 am and 2 pm on february 14.

we are also encouraging the donation of menstrual products in support of the flowing for change campaign. the campaign aims to fight against period poverty, offering products to all of those who may need it and may not otherwise be able to access it.
