you are invited to attend the chms phd defense of clifford agyei on wednesday, december 6 at 9 am in cb 4058 and on zoom.
i. metal coordination, design of transition metal ligand systems for suzuki-miyaura cross-coupling and the coordination of radionuclides
ii. studies towards aurora kinase inhibition for pet imaging
this research covers several areas of synthetic organic and metal-organic chemistry, unified by the general use of these projects in medicinal chemistry. the research is aimed to design a more effective system for separating radioisotopes for medical imaging. the study also investigated radiolabeling existing chemotherapy drugs to be able to study them diagnostically, and more generally developing new catalytic synthetic methods to build new drug targets.
