r is a coding language reputed for its sophisticated statistical applications. it is particularly popular in academia and among statisticians.

this workshop will approach the coding language r in two sections: 1) we will first discuss what motivates researchers to use r as opposed to other coding languages or statistical software, that is, we will discuss some practical circumstances that would best suit this particular tool, and 2) we will then compare resources for learning r, mainly instructional pathways and communities of learning. tools and resources discussed include: r, r studio, free code camp, moocs, data communities including r ladies, and more.

this workshop is a part of the “where to start” data workshop series. this means that the point of the session is not to deliver a step-by-step tutorial. instead, we aim to help you to identify the best resources to begin a sustainable, practical journey to the form of data literacy that best suits your needs. each workshop is a stand-alone experience, though they are offered in an intentional sequence.

the 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 native student association (lunsa) is excited to be hosting a virtual powwow celebration on saturday, march 12 from 3 to 7 pm, broadcast live on youtube and facebook.

the annual powwow is lunsa’s signature event that showcases tremendous talent and entertainment, while reinforcing traditional aspects of indigenous culture such as drumming, dancing, singing, and giving thanks.

lunsa is honoured to have gene nowegejick as the elder and jeremy jordan as the emcee.

lunsa is a volunteer lusu club. the club’s goals are to promote the spirit of unity among indigenous 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 at 阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 through social, cultural, and recreational events in addition to promoting cultural awareness between club members and the greater student population.

the department of visual arts is pleased to announced the opening of the annual student juried exhibition and the graduating 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 ' honours exhibition at the thunder bay art gallery and the zoom opening reception and awards ceremony. both exhibitions will open to the public on friday 4 march 2022 at 12 pm and run until sunday 3 april 2022.

the juried exhibition features the work of 38 artists from both campuses and showcases the work of 世界杯2022赛程表淘汰赛 enrolled in visual arts courses. the honours exhibition features the work of those enrolled in the honours bachelor of fine art degree program who are graduating this year.
