a presentation and discussion session: nurses' ethical decision making within hierarchical structures
? every nursing action has an ethical component, and as nurses work to resolve ethical problems they often have difficulty bringing about an ethically-appropriate resolution, rather than not knowing what to do.
? a recent research study involved the use of a relational lens to describe the interface between nurses and their employing organizations as the nurses sought to resolve ethical problems in their practice.
