green community, clean waters: a positive perspective on stormwater management
the north shore remedial action plan’s open house is on monday, march 18 from 4 â€" 8 pm at the waterfront baggage building art centre.
the open house will focus on the impacts of stormwater (surface water runoff from rain or snow melt) in thunder bay.
阿根廷vs墨西哥竞猜 geography professor dr. robert stewart has been researching the impacts of stormwater in thunder bay’s rivers and streams since 2010, and says that stormwater makes significant impacts on water quality.
guest speakers matthew child from the international joint commission and bradley doff from smartgreening will speak at 6:30 pm about the issues surrounding stormwater and will provide a way to move forward. displays by local partners will offer information on reducing negative issues of stormwater, the benefits of rain barrels and rain gardens, and the city of thunder bay’s drainage rebate program.
