paul delaney speaking on exoplanets paul delaney is an award winning astronomy lecturer from york university.

he will give us a report on the most current evidence for planets around other stars. before 1995 we could not tell if there were other solar systems. by indirect measurement today we know they exist in a surprising variety. this leads to the questions: are there earth like planets and if so is there life? the kepler mission focusing on 100,000 stars in the cygnus constellation, has produced significant results.

paul delaney will bring us up to date on all these matters. we live in exciting times.
